Instructions for A：

You(as A)and another student(as B)will have 10 minutes to prepare a conversation．The

 conversation will be divided into 2 parts，each part taking about 5 minutes．In Part 1，A

 will ask the questions，and B will respond．In Part 2，B will ask the questions，and A will

 respond．Your instructor will indicate when to change parts．

Note：

Final grades will be determined by the accuracy，fluency and appropriateness of your

 conversation．The two parts of your conversation should be naturally connected．You will

 be judged not only on your ability to ask and answer questions，but also on your ability to

 keep the conversation going smoothly．Your conversation should flow as naturally as

 possible．

Topics for conversation：(1)Life and Work    (2) Social Problems

 You and B are going to make up a conversation．You will be first talking about Life and

。Work，and then moving on to the topic of Social Problems．Your conversation will be in two

 parts．Each takes about 5 minutes．Your examiner will indicate when to change to the second

 part．

Part 1：Life and Work

 A starts the conversation by asking the first question，followed with more questions．B

mainly answers questions．This part of your conversation should last about 5 minutes．

Ask B to describe his／her lire and work．

Ask B what is the most important thing in his／her life and work．

Ask B to tell what kind of life and work he／she looks forward to．

Ask B what his／her life would be like if he／she got unemployed．    ．

Part 2：Social Problems

B is now going to ask questions．A mainly answers questions．This part of your conversation

should last about 5 minutes．

asking you some related questions．Try to answer them as best as you can and keep the

conversation flowing．
